Workshops
In addition to all the programs and opportunities AED offers, there are also special events throughout the year that help members move forward in research, academics, and applications. Through our research workshops, we offer members advice finding, securing, and succeeding in research positions on campus. Through our partnership with BRIDGE, we also offer other workshops about MCAT preparation, interview prep, and general study skills. Finally, various workshops will pop up throughout the year surrounding expanding and leveraging your networks.

BRIDGE at University Park
BRIDGE is a mentorship program that targets motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine. The program pairs MD and PA students at Penn State College of Medicine with undergraduate students from nearby colleges such as Penn State Harrisburg, York, Gettysburg, Millersville, Bucknell and Franklin & Marshall. Medical Students from University Park offer undergraduates personalized, relevant, informative, and empathetic advice through various workshops held on campus.
