Lion Care Tyrone and the Lion Mobile Clinic are collecting various sanitary and hygiene items not covered by the government-run SNAP
One service point per item - (max 3 pts per meeting)
Items include: deodorant, hand soap, body/face wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitizer, toothbrush/paste, mouth wash, tampons/pads, hair brush, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels
Cards to St. Jude's Patients
St. Jude Children's Hospital has an online platform to send encouraging notes to patients undergoing treatment for cancer.
You can choose from a variety of artwork, create a personalized message, or choose a pre-written message to send. Click here to get started!

Big Brothers, Big Sisters
This is a long-term opportunity to mentor an elementary student through either the site-based or community-based program
Site-based program: one school year commitment, Big & Little meet at a local school
Community-based program: 12-month commitment, Big & Little participate in activities in the community, volunteer must have a driver's license and an insured vehicle

Undergraduate Research Ambassadors
This is a long-term opportunity to mentor other undergraduates to help them get involved in research.
Time commitment is around one (advising) hour per week. It's a great program for anyone passionate about research and mentorship. Applications are due April 19th.

Theme is outdoor spring activities! Inform kids ages 2-5 and their parents about health literacy and how to be healthy starting at a young age.
DM Hannah on Teams if you're interested in volunteering; looking for 1-2 volunteers. Transportation will be coordinated!

MedMentors
This is a long-term opportunity to mentor a high school student interested in pursuing medicine.
Commitment is one hour per month - meeting times are flexible, at the discretion of you and mentee via Zoom.
Must have a minimum 3.3 GPA to apply to be a mentor. Sign-ups will close April 5th.
1 volunteer point per hour-long session.

Conversations to Remember
This is a non-profit dedicated towards combating isolation felt by senior citizens.
2-3 college students meet virtually with residents of long-term care and assisted living communities.
Time commitment is 1-2 hours per week for a minimum of 16 weeks. Earn 1 volunteer point per hour toward distinguished membership.
